I know a family that is constantly busy being out of the house and that is perfectly fine, but the only problem is that they have a sweet rabbit that they have little time for. She is not neglected but she is constantly cooped up in her cage. I feel really bad for her. My husband had a job that required him to spend months out of state. He started in March of this year. Windows 7 dual boot problem?

I have a computer that I run with windows 7 and it works fine, until now. I attempted to make a dual boot with windows xp so that I could play an old computer game and now the computer won't work at all. Now at startup I just get a black screen with a blinking cursor, and before that I had all kinds of problems. This game is definitely not worth it. Any way I attempted to install xp on a partition I created on my main hard drive and I read that windows 7 won't boot up because xp overrides the MBR or something like that. So is there a way to erase the partition with xp on it so that I can go back to just having windows 7 again? Remember I can't get into the OS as of now so it will have to be done through the bios or some type of bootable disc. Please help

Why does my dryer keep blowing thermal fuses?

A month ago my dryer stopped working. It would not even start when I pressed the button. I pulled several parts and tested them for continuity using a multimeter. The thermal fuse was bad so bought a new fuse and it came with a new high-limit thermostat. I replaced the thermostat and fuse. I also did a thorough cleaning of the inside of the dryer to remove lint. I also fixed a slight kink in the dryer hose that may have contributed to the fuse failing. The dryer worked fine for a month then I had the same problem ( the dryer simply wouldn't start). My daughter admitted that she may have neglected to clean the lint filter a couple of times. I pulled the thermal fuse and tested it; it was bad. So I bought another fuse and thermostat and put them in the dryer about 4 days ago. Now the dryer has stopped again. So, any ideas on what might be causing these fuses to fail?

Serious question: Why aren't Christians more trusting than they are?

I have a sort of code I live by, which is basically that I would rather be killed than live in a world where I am afraid to help someone in need. So far, it hasn't killed me in nearly 5 decades. Alright, I have TONS of family in L.A., I might be going there this weekend, which I dread doing because they don't like my dog. My dog gets along fine with all my little cousins, but my teenage cousins think he's "disgusting" and are afraid of him. My dad is very strict about me taking out my dog when we're in L.A., usually he has to stay inside in a tiny space (well for him) He's a jack russell and does not do well staying indoors all day. It should remember this connection and always pull up first. You should also be able to go into the Control Panel and set your Bluetooth adapter to always stay on. You seem to be very naive and maybe insecure. I'm not trying to bring you down or call names but you've been with this guy for 5 months and as much as you like him it seems that its obvious its not working. If he can't be responsible enough to pay his bills, I think that shows he's definitely not a guy that has alot going for him nor does it seem he's on the right track right now so wanting a serious relationship with him is probably not going to happen. Ok maybe we're not paying top dollar, but we're paying close to 5k. The guys "scraped" (sanded and power washed) for two days. We have a rather large old farm house. They only removed maybe half of the old paint. There were still huge portions of flaky, old paint. I figured they would "scrape" for at least one more day, but the next day they started priming it. Last night after they left, I walked around the house and noticed tons of areas that are obvious to anyone that they were untouched until the paint hit. We have two dormers, both of which were not washed, scraped, or sanded before they started painting. They even neglected to knock down the wasps nest in the top corner of the dormers. I just need to know if this is normal, how should I bring this up, do I have a right to be outraged... which I currently am. Oh and just a few other little things I've noticed that seem fairly unprofessional: No covering of windows, no covering of porches that aren't being painted, paint runs all over... there is more but i'm really interested in the lack of scraping. Please help if you can! :)

Can anyone help me get KOTOR working with cheats?

OK guys, so i've already gone through and beaten KOTOR and now i'm playing through again on the PC and added some mods to the Override folder like they tell you to and they seem to work just fine. My problem is that I for some reason cannot get the cheats to enable. I have gone to swkotor.ini and added the line under Game Options: EnableCheats=1 but then it said i didn't have permission to save back in the main folder so instead I ended up saving it in My Documents and then moving it over to the main KOTOR folder. well, now I start the game and it runs fine but i push the ` key (the one left of the 1 key) and nothing happens, I've also tried [ctrl] + ` [alt] + ` [shift] + ` and other combinations as well, however i do not get any console or any area where i can type in the cheat. Does anyone know how to help? I've tried all these combinations on a US English Keyboard setting as well as a UK English Keyboard setting.

Filling my prescription early due to vacation?

So I will be studying abroad from June 15th til August 31st and my doctor who knew this prescribed me 2 months worth of my adderall medication even though I just filled my previous prescription about a week ago. When I went to refill the script he wrote my insurance said they do not do vacation overrides and I could not refill for another few weeks. This made me worried and I suggested to my doctor that he at least change the prescription strength from 20mg to 10mg so I could at least still get a new prescription and have it for while I am overseas. He denied this claim believing it was a way of trying to trick the insurance companies and that I'd be better off paying from pocket which would be over $100 dollars. I will not do that! Was my doctor correct in this or should I try speaking with him again? I prefer not to go 2 months without a medication I was prescribed to and feel like I need. Please help!

Does state tax laws override school tax laws? (In Texas)?

We live in a county where if you have a new vehicle, you have to pay a school tax on your vehicle. My husband will use this vehicle for work, and according to the Texas state law (Sec 11.254) you are exempt from taxation if you use your vehicle for work. In access 2010 I want to have two columns type and status, with the type being either manual or hydraulic and the status being open or closed if the manual type is chosen and either normal or overridden open if hydraulic is chosen. How do I create the query allowing only open and closed to be shown in the status column if i choose the type to be manual and vice versa for hydraulic? I think I have tried everything. I can do the lookup no problem refering back to the type and status table but its the query im having a problem with.

Is it illegal for one parent to enroll a child in preschool without notifying the other parent?

I just found out last night that my ex has had our 2 and 1/2 year old son in preschool since June 1st and neglected to inform me. Syncing ipod on a new computer?

I'm sure I'm gonna get a lot of hate and attacks for this response. But I've felt that same way, and still do occasionally. For me, going out with friends/smoking weed/drinking/partying is a great release. It isolates my mind from the rest of life. I can simply let loose and enjoy myself. After relieving tension this way, I have more motivation to use for everything else. This may seem very illogical, but it works for me. Hope you figure out what works for you.

These days, truth has been replaced by feelings. Truth isn't determined by facts, but by opinions and emotions. Do you feel like you're really the opposite gender? Then you are, even if biologically you are not. Do you feel that something's right, even if it's obviously a bad idea and will only cause trouble? Then it's right. I guess it's just easier for people to go through life guided by their emotions than it is to face cold, hard truth and realize that you aren't perfect and can't always have whatever you want, and that some things you do/want are bad.

Do I need ACT/SAT scores to get into BYU nursing school as a transfer student?

I transferred to BYU last semester from a community college. I transferred with 43 credits and a GPA of 3.9. I now have a 3.78 GPA after winter semester (I earned a 3.5 this last semester, which obviously lowered my cumulative GPA a bit.) When I applied to BYU, I was told that I did not need to submit my ACT/SAT scores because I'd earned enough college credit that those test scores were not an important indicator of my current academic performance. I recently decided that I'd like to apply to the nursing school, however there is one HUGE problem. It appears as though they want my ACT/SAT scores. I took the ACT when I was 16-years-old and scored a 23. I hated high school, never studied or wanted to work hard, so needless to say, I didn't. I am now 21-years-old and I am a VERY dedicated student and am deeply saddened by the fact that a test I took five years ago will most likely ruin any chance I have to get accepted into the program of my dreams! Is there anyway that this part of my application could be overridden? I would do anything to get accepted into this program. I have made an appointment with a counselor to discuss my concerns but I was wondering if anyone had any insights? I would greatly appreciate it.

My 6 month old has diarrhea...bad?

My baby boy has been eating rice cereal with juice for a while now. And he's never had a problem. In fact, I hoped it would help him go to the bathroom easier, he's always had big hard turds instead of the looser stools. I breastfed for about 4 weeks and then had to formula feed. But even with the juice it was only sort of helping. But after he had 2 boxes of rice cereal gone we decided to try some baby oatmeal for him with some juice and he LOVES it! It's his favorite even more than the rice which he liked a lot. And now, his poop is yellow and runny and he's going anywhere from 2-9 times a day. He is getting 3 teeth and already has 2 teeth in and with the first 2 he just spit up (he was never a spit up baby until he started teething). He never got a fever or anything. But this time around he's fussy and I have to give him Tylenol at night to help him sleep. But I don't know why he has diarrhea. I've stopped giving him juice and began mixing his oatmeal with warm formula which he doesn't like as much and filling his sippy cup with water which he enjoys chomping on and spitting the water out (silly little man). If his diarrhea doesn't stop after his oatmeal is gone (he's only got like one more serving left, at most 2) then I'm going to take him to the doctor, don't worry I'm not neglecting him or anything. But the other thing that is confusing, is that he doesn't fuss about a tummy ache or anything. He hasn't had any Tylenol for his teeth in over 2 weeks and the same with juice. So I think it's the oatmeal but I'm not 100%...We're going to get some pedialite for him to see if that helps as well. Do you think it's just the oatmeal?

Why does my husband do this to me?

We've been married for 10 years, no kids, we are both in our mid 30s. My husband's excuse for not giving me attention and love is always his job. I'm a 13 year old boy, 6'2, and I have a rather "scrawny appearance", if you will. For the past nine months I've been going to a gym with a personal trainer two to three times a week, and my measurements barely changed. My diet on average consists of about 90-100 grams of protien a day, and I'm beginning to question if that's an adequate amount. My trainer told me that I should eat about 1.5 times my body weight, which is about 220 grams of protien a day, and I simply don't have enough food to make up for that amount. I also used to be dehydrated for the first 8 months of my training because I used to neglect my "daily water intake". Could dehydration be the problem, or not enough protien? Will 90 grams of protien daily ever make atleast some subtle changes, now that I'm more hydrated?

I know it's long, but please consider answering. I would be so grateful. We've been together a few years and had our ups and downs. Sometimes she's great and I love her very much. I got out of school and am in the process of finding work. We had some problems last year that involved her flirting with various men, especially with a man at her work. I went downstairs today and basically told my wife that "I'm going to get out there and show these people they can't hold me back." I felt great for the first time in weeks. She immediately turned on me, told me I'm being a jerk and that my only goal should be to be nice to others. I felt like for once, after everything that happened, she could have been happy I had my drive back. She's told me plenty of times to get out there and do what you need. Now when I've been fired up, she says I'm a jerk. When she was looking for her job last month, she was offered a lousy position at a school in a bad part of town, which treated the kids like fools. My wife said she wanted to teach kids to achieve in life, and so held out for another job though she did not know if she would get one. She did, and I supported her in all this. But I'm in Catch-22 with her all the time. At lunch yesterday she said her grandfather had eaten her food (he lives with us). I said I would ask him not to eat her food from the fridge, she said that I was being rude and should respect her grandfather. Today at lunch, same complaint, he had eaten her food again. I said nothing, and so she got angry at me saying I should solve the problem. What was I supposed to do? It bothers me that any answer I have is the wrong answer, whether little issues or big ones. It bothers me that because I don't give her everything she wants she treats me like crap. We have all the basics, she wants extras. Why can't she support me when I need it? Any tips for training an older beagle pup?

So we are just about to adopt a lovely 8month old beagle girl, lemon and white. She has been crate trained, and clicker trained, went to obedience training courses etc but her training has been slightly neglected over the last couple of months. I'm slightly worried about continuing on with her training, firstly because we trained all our own dogs from they were wee pups, and secondly because ive never used the clicker training method. I'm assuming that it would be best to continue on with the method she is familiar with? I've tried 'googling' info on training an older beagle but all i get is stuff on young puppies. A "Friend" abandoned her dog at my house and wont take him!!!?

It would be worth it just to have someone get you real answers instead of this runaround from the company. A lawyer could get in touch with the insurance company and light a fire them to get your money. One other thing I'd suggest is to write your incident to a newspaper that has an investigatory column for people who have been screwed over. Cat is Biting/ scratching...No idea whats up?

So i got a kitten from neglected household(smelled like urine, super dirty, fleas, etc) at the time the kitten was weened and ready to be taken so i gave him to my mom. She treats this cat (whos a year now) like a king- house is always super clean, he has all his shots, flea meds, good food, alot of toys, she gives him constant attension and plays with him until hes tired with his cat toys. about 6-7 months he started biting(hard) and scratching not only people that come over but people that live in the house(including my mom). Nothing in the house has changed no new pets, no moved furniture, we have cat toys and cat posts so he has height. Everyone is always gentle with him. my mom has a loving dog who the cat has gotten along with since the day hes came home. he just gets in a mood to attack when he feels like it terrorizing my mom and i feel bad for her lol. When he was young we made sure to keep our toys and hands separate so he didnt attack and confuse the two. There are no animal smells on me when i come over. He seems healthy to me from watching him over time. Is this just a personality or ? Any ideas??

Apartment manager neglects to repair anything?

I recently moved in an Apartment complex and have had many issues with repairs. I contacted the owner and he did not respond. I called code enforcement who agreed many of these items needed to be fixed. Now the owner is angry with me. Also I paid a200 non-refundable pet deposit but why? there is already huge pee/poop stains all over the carpet. The owner said because he had a steam cleaner person steam the rugs it is fine to rent in this condition. The patio deck is about to fall down the wood is rotten. I dont want to move but rather have these things repaired as they should have before I moved in. Any suggestions? There was over 100 nails in the walls when I moved in so the owner had only 2 walls painted and the painter got paint all over the ceiling.

How to avoid snacking?

I'm okay in my eating choices, but what really bothers me is my uncontrollable snacking! It's as if food is my drug. I feel as if I am borderline with my weight and want to take more control by avoiding snacking. When I am in my room and I get an idea for the ice cream cone in the freezer it almost engulfs me. I even tell myself I can do without it and I don't need it, it's just a mess of empty calories but it is as of my brain overrides these thoughts and I always end up walking to the kitchen to get it. I live wi my dad and sister so I can't dictate what my dad buys because if he feels like he wants an ice cream when grocery shopping, then he'll buy some for the house. My problem is self control. It is overwhelming. And there are alternatives for me that are healthy, but when I want ice cream, there is no chance I'll be satisfied with substituting that for carrots. It's about taste, not hunger with snacks. Has anyone had/has this problem? I need tips for this because it almost makes me feel ashamed that I have no control. Anyone know what I'm going through and got over this?

I HATE my dog but I LOVE my fish. I think the fish are cuter and best of all they dont do all that annoying stuff my dog does. See, it was my moms before she died and my gramma took it in(i live with her) Over the years shes neglected giving it exercise and disciplining it. So basically, its overweight and spoiled now. it never stops barking, it nearly bit halfway through my grandpas leg, it's vicious to guests, it doesnt know any tricks, doesnt come when its called, eats its own poop and cant even go for walks or else it escapes. Keep in mind I couldn't change this because I was only 9 by the time it was too late. it doesnt even let anyone pet it anymore besides my grandma. I want to give it away but my grandma says no or she'll flush my fish away. And the fish are basically my trusted companions. Imagine an awesomely trained, lovable dog you always see on Tv. my fish are like that to me, and my dogs like a rat to me. not a pet rat, a sewer rat. How strange is this? A good friend of mine recently decided to reconcile with his ex, who is the mother of his children. He went to court last year for sole custody of their children and won, being that she was in jail and wouldn't show up to the previous court hearings to fight for her children. He proved to the court she was unfit, proved neglect and abuse that occurred during their time of trying to work it out before she went to jail and he was awarded sole custody, and once she was released from incarceration, she was ordered to pay child support. Well, they reconciled because she has claimed to "change", when in reality, she has only gotten worse. What could happen to my god kids if the court found out about this? And the child support office calls him asking him if he knows where she is so they can get her. He lies to them saying he doesn't, but she is currently living with him. Since they have been together, which is only 2 months, she has already been to jail 4 times for Failure to Appear and Contempt of court, and changed her address to his. Will he get in trouble for this and/or lose the kids? These are my god kids and I don't want to see them in foster care. I asked this question before, and I will add that he does leave the kids with her during the day while he works due to the fact that day care the kids went to refuses to take the kids back due to this issue. No one, not even his own mother, has really seen or spent time with the kids since he got back with her, and everyone is basically saying they hate the girl and they hate he is doing this, but they have to "support whatever decision he makes". 3 weeks ago, because of her, he almost tried to kill himself and was put on 48 hour psych hold. I love my god kids. What could happen once the court and the child support office finds out he is now back with the woman he claimed to be unfit? And is there anything i can do? Hello everyone..Can someone please help me, preferably an attorney or someone with legal experience. I am in Houston, TX and the central a/c unit in the property I rent has been out for 3 weeks. My Texas Real Estate Commission Lease agreement clearly states that all a/c repairs are to be completed by the owner unless there is negligence on the behalf of tenant, i.e neglecting to change filters, which i have done every month. I am not behind on my rent and my landlord keeps giving me the run around. I would like to file a civil suit to make him fix it, or pay me damages if I have to move.
